Situation:
There is a popup displayed with the text, "Could not complete the action" that is displayed after attempting to "Display Markup" code on any of my asp.net pages. The dialogue box allows you to X out of the box or click OK; Both result in the same dialogue box reappearing. This endless loop can't be resolved and a force exit is required to continue.

Typically, the issue occurs when the aspx mark up code is lengthy, however, VS used to handle lengthy pages just fine. Shorter aspx pages have a much higher success rate of loading the Mark Up code.
