Using Windows 7 Home Premium with IE v. 11 and Windows Firewall
Can connect to internet without any problems (using Enhanced 64-bit option)
But when trying to obtain updates thru SpeedyPc Pro I keep getting "No internet connection".
Have had Speedy's support remotely login and attempt to fix, to no avail. Since I purchased this software to check for malware, etc. I have been unable to use it due to not being able to get the necessary updates.
I have tried turning off the firewall for Domain, Local, Private and still can not connect to internet using their software. Yet I can click on MSN or Yahoo and get in immediately.
I have not had any problems connecting to the internet. Windows Security Essentials updates automatically; SuperAntispyware updates automatically; none of my other programs have this problem. And yes, I have already uninstalled completely & re-downloaded and installed again, with the same results.
Does anyone else have this issue, and if so, have you been able to fix ?
